For the past 30 years Ann Clark has guided the growth and development of adults and youth across the state of Minnesota and the United States. With a passion for creating a world and educational system that meets each student’s needs, Ann provides training and coaching to develop caring and competent educators and leaders. Ann was selected to become trained and licensed by Dr. Amit Sood, professor of Medicine at Mayo Clinic, in Stress Management and Resiliency Training (SMART) and provides training to educators across Minnesota and internationally. .Ann’s leadership career includes work at every level of education, from the classroom to the building, district, and state. Ann served as the Program Manager and Director of the Minnesota Regional Centers of Excellence (RCE) with the Minnesota Department of Education. This work focused on improving struggling schools through training and coaching of teachers, principals, and superintendents. While under her leadership, the RCEs received the Harvard Ash Center Award for Top 25 Innovations in Government and a Minnesota State Government Innovation Award. Ann brings 14 years of administrative experience with the Rochester Public Schools in Minnesota where she held the positions of Executive Director of K-12 Curriculum and Instruction and Elementary Principal. In addition, she was a classroom teacher in both Minnesota and Colorado. Seeing the value in supporting educators across the nation, Ann worked to improve school culture and climate in her role as a K-12 Education Specialist with ChartHouse International Learning, home of the FISH! Philosophy. She has been a member of a variety of boards including higher education, diversity, and community.Ann is dedicated to the development of positive mindsets in Resilience, Equity, Empowerment, and Leadership.
