What might college and career readiness for ALL look like at the middle school level? Central Middle School in Norwood-Young America tackles postsecondary preparation through a weekly advisory period in which relationships are built and Ramp-Up to Readiness™ is used. Ramp-Up is an age appropriate curriculum that aims to propel ALL students toward college and career readiness by disrupting the narrative of what college is and who should go. In this presentation, we will share why postsecondary readiness for ALL matters, how Central Middle approaches this goal, and the strengths and challenges of the work thus far.
