“Principles of Improvisation – how to use them in the classroom and in life”

Log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

In this hands-on, upbeat, on-your-feet workshop, learn the 4 principals of improvisation and how you can use these principles in the classroom to harness your own spontaneity and engage your students' attention. The goal in improvisation is freedom – freedom to make mistakes, to play, to get out of your head and trust your gut. Facilitator Jane Leyden of Youth Frontiers studied improv at Dudley Riggs in Mpls., Second City in Chicago and The Groundlings in Los Angeles. Have fun, laugh, and leave this interactive workshop more connected to your spontaneous self and primed for the creative endeavors you face in the classroom and in life. Guaranteed to be entertaining!
